Imagine this: You've just traversed scorching deserts. Survived the scorpions, snakes, and illusions of oasis after oasis. You keep going because you have one goal. Riches beyond anyone's dreams. As the forest begins to give way to more open land you see just a few more obstacles to hurdle before you can claim the treasure for yourself.
Tombstones aged, moldy, and worn from the centuries of standing in place claiming their place as the final destination of someone once like you. The crunch crunch crunch of leaves seems different. Rigid. More like branches, although the forest is far behind you now. Bones riddle the ground, charred, some still encased in the armour that failed to do it's job crumble as you start to jog to the final test. The door to the castle that has swallowed your prize and sits in the bowels of the lower chambers is all that blocks you now. The creaking echoes throughout the empty castle, bouncing off the stone walls until they fade into what sounds like a gentle pulsating breeze. You think nothing of it as you reach the final steps to the place thats beckoned so many, and none have reached. You take your helmet off slowly now with reason. Your shoulders slump, and suddenly a loud "clang" rings and reverberates the walls as your sword clumsily slips from your tired grasp. As the sound weakens your focus doesn't change. It's golden yellow eyes slowly open to stare right back. It's green and teal scales shimmer and sparkle like stars from all the jewels, gold, and precious metals it lays on. This Dragon's Hoard is what you've desired your entire life. You know it's just about to inhale before breathing pure fire in your direction to keep you from your goal. But you've come so far!
