This solar polish goes from a grass green to a bold kelly green in the sun. It's a quick change solar which means it doesn't retain its state long when you remove your fingers from the UV source.

Algae Bloom wasn’t supposed to stay this color. Originally designed as a green-to-blue solar, this shade was meant to shift like the ocean does. Instead, it settled into a vivid, glowing green that feels alive, beautiful, and just a little unsettling the longer you look at it. Algae blooms are a sign of imbalance in our oceans, a reminder that something we love is changing.
We chose not to correct this polish but instead let it stay imperfect and mean something important. This is our 2026 Earth Day charity polish, with $10 from every bottle donated to Ocean Conservancy and donations matched 2x on Earth Day.

Please note this is on a 10 free base (instead of our usual 21 free) that doesn't have any UV blocking components to keep your polish responsive when you're in the sun. Please be aware that most top coats contain UV blockers that will reduce the reactiveness of this polish.
